Hmmmm. . . now you’re really making me think! 🙂 I actually didn’t take the photo for this VersePic. I originally took it last year because I was considering entering it into KBR’s calendar competition, but didn’t end up doing it in the end. So when this STS oppurtunity came up I thought why not use those pictures!
So, since it was over 6 months ago I can’t remember the fine details. . . 🙂
My sister is always willing to help me out on all my crazy photography ideas- which is amazing! 😀 – so she’s the ‘model’. We went down the paddock to an area with lots of trees and I didn’t really have a lot of plans, but just experimented as I went. I tried quite a few different poses, but really like this one. (I’ll also attach 2 other photos I took that are of the same pose just different angles that I didn’t submit for the VersePic. Thanks @bensharpeningcharacter for putting those other ones on their. I have know idea how to embed them. . . )I took the winning picture with these settings and used my Tamron 17-50mm lens-

Aperture f/4I remember that I had a bit of trouble getting an angle that looked ok, but if you try enough you eventually find one that works, most of the time! 🙂 And that’s pretty much all I can remember other than the fact that the photo-shoot ended quite abruptly with me and my sister running across the paddock because it was raining! But hey, it made some fun memories, even if we were quite wet! 🙂

Perfect! It is always so much fun to hear the story behind great shots! So, very curious, what is a “paddock”?
