FEATURED: The Solid Rock

Here are my submissions. I took the easy route, and attempted to make a small rock in my backyard look like a large one. =) I wish I had used a narrower aperature, though; a lot more of the rock should be in focus. I am re-uploading the high-resolution pictures for images 7320 and 7321; I noticed afterwards a lens spot and some things on the rock which needed to be edited out.

Great job on your photos, everyone! Here are my (Rebekah) photos. I had a hard time trying to capture the solid rock with the rocks we have. My twin and I used some rocks down at the lake to see if we could portray the “solid rock”. Here’s what I came out with.🙃

I took the photos for this assignment at Tallulah Gorge, which is a 1,000 ft. deep gorge close to our house. There are plenty of rocks at that location, so it was perfect for the Solid Rock. Great job on your pictures everyone!

It’s really neat to see what everyone was able to come up with. Some interesting variety.

Wow! It is so fun to see all the creativity in the submission. Sadly, we couldn’t find a good time to get out to photograph this assignment, so it is neat to see what everyone else came up with. What a neat assignment!:)

It was fun, though, to see all the beautiful photos you all submitted! A lot of neat locations, as well as creative perspectives on small/medium sized backyard rocks.

We don’t have a solidified winner yet….ZFP won’t know until they design their product….but I’m pretty sure @jerrell is going to walk away with the prize with the attached image. 🙂 Good job Jerrell! We’ll let you know when that decision is made.

And there were several other nice submissions that ZFP liked and may want to buy to use in future publications! We’ll reach out to you in the future if your photo is ever wanted!
