This is really great, guys! I’m going to ask Esther to review these photos today so I can try to have a winner by tomorrow night for the webinar! https://www.lenspiration.com/photo-critique-with-lenspiration-jul-16/
July 17, 2019 at 1:19 pm #42057James StaddonKeymasterOk everyone! The Biblical Character Illustrated Curriculum team has narrowed down the 32 submissions to 14 finalists! These 7 sets are currently being reviewed and a winner will be chosen and announced soon! For more details on which photos are being reviewed, members can re-watch yesterday’s webinar here: https://www.lenspiration.com/video/webinar071619/
July 17, 2019 at 1:24 pm #42058James StaddonKeymasterAnd here’s a bit more information from Esther, how she narrowed it down to the 7 finalists, all of which wasn’t shared on last night’s webinar! I love what she says about this being “so luxurious.” 🙂
Tell the photographers I was extremely pleased with the submissions. I’m leaving out the Noah’s ark option because it makes you think Noah’s ark has something to do with orderliness. Thank you for your creativity, but as you use that creative talent in the future, maybe ask yourself, “Does the object in the picture make me think of just the main object in the picture or of the concept we are trying to picture?” This may be true of the close ups on the character books as well. It was zoomed up so close on the object that you thought about what kind of books they were instead of the fact that they were organized. (I have to note though, how perfect it was that the photographer had the orderliness card on top in that picture!) There were also a couple pictures that were not quite messy enough. I mean a mom would be happy as long as the toy was on the shelf, right? So I’ve eliminated some, but still feel like I have really good options. I can’t believe I have photographers to take pictures for us! This is so luxurious! Who gets such specialized help! Please tell them all a big “Thank you!”

The decision has been made, and @creative-click-photography has emerged successfully as the winner for this assignment! The competition was stiff, so thank you everyone for your enthusiastic participation! Caitlin, your many years of hard work, study and practice in photography technique are indeed paying off, and hopefully more than just on Lenspiration, but also in your regular, day-to-day life. Congratulations.

…and are inspiring as well! 🙂
@jamesstaddon, looks like in the photo credit at the bottom of the page, they incorrectly spelled Caitlin’s name with a y instead of an i. 🙂August 4, 2019 at 6:46 pm #42625Caitlin ComptonParticipantThanks, @jamesstaddon and @bennett-family, for your encouragement! It’s exciting to have my photo chosen and being used for a Christian publication. 🙂
Lydia, thanks for pointing out the misspelling of my name – I believe they fixed that. 😀
