Great barns to be photographing at a picturesque time! So often I am restricted to photographing a pretty barn from the road, so it’s nice that it appears you have permission to take any angle you want there on private property.
Of the first two that you submitted, by favorite is the first one because the road draws you in more, and the way it’s edited makes the sun feel brighter and more glowey!
Pictures 3 and 4, I like the perspective where the tree is not covering the entrance of the barn, but I like the overcast, snowy feeling of the other.
Pictures 5 and 6 are very artistic, in that they are from a low angle. The depth of field is creative in the first one! The sky seems a little too vibrant to me in the second one (even though it really may have been that blue), overpowering for the rustic scene that it is, but that’s just my opinion.
The next one is just absolutely stunning. The sky doesn’t feel too saturated, and the composition is 100% perfect. Maybe smooth out the snow in Photoshop, there in the foreground? 🙂
And the backlight in that last one is so beautiful! I may have composed to include more tree branch above and less field below. But again, that’s just me! The old farm implement sitting in the snow next to the barn adds a nice touch.
Great way to make the most of the snow, @blessingscaptured!
