I like this shot a lot! I think it would be nice if you could have included more of the tree/bush, to give a little more texture and context to the photo, besides just the clouds. I would probably sharpen or use some clarity on the funnel cloud to really make it pop and add context to what it actually is. Other then that great photo! πŸ˜€

Beautiful image. Love the golden light! Haha for taking this by accident. The framing is really great. If I was taking this photo, I would try and get just a little bit lower, more to the cows eye level, also the sunlight/sky is blown out, but other than that, I love everything about this photo.

  • Very nice!! I really love all the colors! I think if you could have gotten lower to the horses level I think that would add a neat angle. Also if you could have incorporated more of that barn on the right. In editing, I think if you brought the highlights down it would be better because the grass seems a little blown out. Other than that great job πŸ˜€

Wow very very nice! This is really good. This is the kind of photo that really draws you in and makes you want to just keep looking at it. I really can’t critique much on this but kind of like @RyanMadaris said, the lightning bugs and the horizon were just a little bit off, but other then that very nice job. The coloring and composition is really great!

@jamesstaddon thanks so much for your comments πŸ™‚ The sky was really foggy that day, so I think that’s why it was so plain and white looking. It would have been much better if it had texture and color. Thank you for pointing that out to me, I hadn’t even noticed the leaf. Thanks again!

WOW!! These photos are amazing. Great shots. On the last photo (depending on your situation) if you could have incorporated more of the sky that would give some breathing room, but at the same time having the ground in the photo is nice because it kinda frames the photo and makes it feel grounded if you know what I mean. but other than that that…[Read more]

  • Thank you so so much for your compliments. It’s funny that you would suggest that because I actually did get a photo of the cotton in focus and the rest blurred. My aperture was f/1.8. Thanks again!

  • Thank you so much @ryanmadaris. I didn’t even notice.Thank you for pointing that out to me.

  • I Saw this cotton field the other day and thought I’d try and get a photo of it. Your thoughts would be very very much appreciated!! thanks πŸ™‚

it looks like you got down pretty low for this shot (which is nice) but if it was possible for you to get lower to get the cows in the backgrounds feet, that would be great, because it looks like there feet were chopped off. That’s really all I can see that you could do differently with this photo! great job with this shot πŸ™‚ @ryanmadaris

I agree with @Lewisfamily if you had gotten closer with a different Lens or cropped it in some, that would really make the photo more interesting. Very nice job on the blurred background and getting the subject nice and sharp! I think if you were to re-create this shot you could get lower to the ground, and think about possibly framing it…[Read more]

  • Very nice photo! I agree with @hayhand02 it is a little dark. The way you framed this is perfect. I think it would be nice if you added some contrast to this photo in editing. The flashlight makes the photo look a bit unnatural but other then that this is an amazing photo, good job πŸ˜€

  • Thank you so much @RyanMaderas your thoughts are definitely appreciated! If I try to take that photo again I Will definitely keep your comments in mind! πŸ˜€

  • Thank you so much @Josephcamuso for your comments! I totally agree, If I try to take that photo again I will definitely try and lower my aperture to get a nice Bokeh πŸ˜€

  • thanks @JohnM. Your comments are very very much appreciate! Yes I edit my photos, not always but for these I did a little bit. Thanks for your edit, seeing your edit made me realize that my photo really was too bright. we live and have a farm in Georgia!! Again thank you so much for your critique!
