I am currently looking to buy a Nikon 18-300mm lens but did not know if I should look into other options like the Tamron 16-300mm lens or the Sigma 18-300mm lens. Do any of you have experience with any of these lenses?

My mom has been taking us to a park since we were little. I always enjoyed being outside but when I was introduced to photography it opened up a whole new view of nature. Now I not only see God’s creation but enjoy His creatures. So now when my mom says “Let’s go to the park,” I always take my camera along. This was one of those days. It was…[Read more]
Thank you, I will write up something.
So we have this park near my hose that my family goes to and there are some woods near the park and I loving wildlife photography brought my camera and after some trekking and a few thorns in the skin, I finally got a photograph of a female Eastern Towhee which was worth it all.
so you noticed how bright the moon was sunday night to
it was so bright for me i thought it was a full moon 😃
my only thought is maybe you could crop it in a little so we could see some more details on the moon
i didn’t even notice people until i read what you wrote LOL

yesterday i had a successful day with wildlife photography and was wondering what some of you thought of my best photos from the other day
Nice photo I as you know I live about 30 min away from cades cove and have gone there a few times and it is always amazing
my only thoughts are on the right side of the road there seems to be some gravel dust like a car just went by I would have waited a little bit until it blew away other than that it looks fine
ok thanks @jamesstaddon
when I searched online on how to photography a lunar eclipse it said to use a Shutter Speed of 25 sec but when I took the pic at that speed it was horrible so I went back to the site then thought that maybe there was a tipo so I used a Shutter Speed of 2.5
so maybe there was another tipo
any way thanks for the info🙂😀…
last night there was a lunar eclipse and so I took some pictures and was wondering what you thought about one of them
camera – canon t3i
Aperture – f/11
Shutter Speed – 2.5 sec
ISO – 800
Focal Length – 300mm
I did remove some noise in photoshop but that is it
some things I would try doing better next time is I would maybe take a step to the right so you would be in the middle of the road and maybe focusing in the middle of the photo so that the hill and road are a little in focus Or maybe it looks like you may have used the blur tool? these are just my thoughts you don’t have to do any of…[Read more]
