Hi! Do you mean loading them from your camera to the laptop? or from the laptop to the internet?
If you’re loading them onto your computer from your camera using a usb wire, your speed might be limited by your camera’s usb capacities, or some other aspect of the camera’s speed. I would suggest plugging the memory card directly into your computer’s card reader to speed up your upload time. Doing this dramatically reduced the time it takes for us to import into lightroom.
Have you any experience with the same setup on another computer? you might be able to get some sort of comparison and know what to expect from the computer. RAW files are very large and dealing with them is very hardware-intensive from a computing point of view.
If it’s uploading them to the internet (or emailing) that is slow, you may find you need to downsize your pictures more to help work around your internet speed.
