We’ve been blessed with rain and cool this week. But that doesn’t give “strong backlight and glowing sun”.
This morning when the sun came out I decided to try to get a couple shots. These are of my sister’s bachelor buttons and then lacy phacelia in my pollinator mix.

Thank you Rebekah and Joshua for the encouragement. The photography explore meetups I have been able to go to have helped me a lot in learning how and getting the chance to take some decent pictures. I enjoyed getting to talk about macro photography a lot too 😀 @parrisfamily. It would be great if we could do a field day together sometime! @parrisfamily You all had a lot of really stunning pictures as well that at least as far as I can tell fit the assignment perfectly.

Here are my photos for the assignment (all taken before). I wasn’t able to do the last few, so I’m glad I could this time! The second one is a crop and slightly different edit of the first photo. I wasn’t sure if the last one quite fits the assignment, but northern lights are glowing, and it’s scenery… 🙂
And I just ordered a new (to me) camera that’s supposed to get here tomorrow, so I will probably be making more time to do the assignments. 😊

@lenspirationlydia I got a Canon R6! I’ve been wanting one for a long time, but I always had to rent it when I needed a “good” camera (for portrait shoots, trips, etc.). Now I won’t have to anymore! It was delivered at our house towards the end of the webinar, so I was kinda distracted when Mr. James was announcing the winners. 😊
