Aaaannd, if 50 megapixels isn’t enough, canon is working on something, – though this has yet to translate into a real product we can purchase- a 120 megapixel camera đ http://www.canon.com/news/2015/sep08e2.html This is an official press release from Canon, and indicates a very real product in the making and not just some fly-by-night rumour. However, these things are years in the making and I wouldn’t expect to see a real product announcement before 2017.
