True, I guess I haven’t worried about compression too much; I’ve never seen a file any worse for the wear just from being saved once or twice. Actually, to tell the truth, I very rarely go from Lightroom to GIMP and back (if ever). I mainly use GIMP for design projects, or for helping people with their picture problems, in which case I’m usually working with JPGs anyway! 🙂
