And here are my submissions! This time I remembered to crop them square. 🙂 And something I learned after creating the demonstration video, she could use photos of more than just the food on the table. That’s what I focused on, but if you can include not only the food but also people interaction and fellowship around the table that would make your photos even better than mine!

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving, everyone! Today would be the day, all ye Canadians, to shoot this assignment if you don’t want to go through all the effort of making another Thanksgiving again before the end of the month. 🙂
So excited to be doing this assignment! It was kind of last minute for me, but I enjoyed taking the photos, and having a new challenge, photography indoors. This is something I don’t normally do, so it really pushed me! I loved it!

Hello everyone!! I very much enjoyed this assignment. Partly because it involved food and my self getting to eat the food after, but also I loved the very unexpected challenge. I have not photographed food very and trying to compose not only the food but also the background was more than a challenge than I thought. It is not as if you can pick up a whole meal and move it 10 feet over for better light. At least not easily. I don’t know what to think of my photos, but I do like some of them. If you guys have any feedback I would really appreciate it!!Attachments:

I adore interior design, so this was a win win for me- a mix of photography and decorating! (AND cooking a lot! My parents and sister loved it.)

Here are mine!! I’m excited to see what I need to improve on. Some of my photos didn’t feel right, but I couldn’t figure out why.

I decided to go for the dessert part of a thanksgiving dinner. Because fall has come to where I live, I was able to incorporate some colorful leaves into my pictures. I’m still trying to learn how to shoot square photos. Any tips for taking square photos are welcome.

Making a thanksgiving dinner was inconvenient for me, so I looked for other ways to do this idea.
The harvest basket was somewhat hard to photograph. There was low lighting so most of the pictures where blurry. Furthermore, I was low to the ground so things I didn’t want appeared in the background. Despite all, it was fun to organize the basket!
In the pie picture, the pie is persimmon. Also, the tree one is an oak. It’s leaves are really pretty.
I enjoyed composing thanksgiving pictures.
