Hymn PPT Opportunity details

The morning after I received this request for 150 scenic images, we read this verse in our family devotions: “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean [insignificant] men.” (Proverbs 22:29)

I hope that each and every one of us will have as our motivation the heart to serve and work diligently as unto the Lord as we shoot for this list of opportunities!

The following information applies to all the Hymn PowerPoint Opportunities listed on Shoot to Serve:

Requester: IBLP Family Conferences

Purpose: They are updating the PowerPoint that displays the hymns projected for congregational signing. They currently use a textured, blue background behind white text, but want to do a complete makeover and add scenic images to the background of each song.

Images Requested: The type of images we are looking for are images that embody the song being displayed. Creatively figuring out what pictures relate to which songs is what makes these opportunities especially fun! It is suggested that you start by reading through at least the first verse of the song (on a website such as Hymnary.org) to get ideas for what kind of picture would portray it well. Then, shoot or find pictures from your portfolio that relate. Landscape, nature and scenic images are what were requested, but pictures of people, animals, architecture or human involvement that help depict or portray the song well are certainly welcome!

Remuneration: IBLP is a non-profit organization with the express purpose to introduce people to the Lord Jesus and make available to them training on how to find success by following God’s principles found in Scripture. Any submissions would be received as a gift toward advancing God’s Kingdom through this ministry.

Terms: You are granting IBLP the right to use your submissions for the sole purpose of display in the Hymn PowerPoint and derivatives relating to the Hymn PowerPoint deemed necessary by IBLP. You continue to retain full rights to your submissions.

Priority: High

Deadline: There is no deadline for these images, though December 31 2015 might be a good time to have all the opportunities complete. (You may disregard deadlines given on each of the individual topics.)

Submission Notes: Please add your submissions as Attachments to your Replies. Please do not use links in the Reply, or add your submission directly in the Reply. You have the ability to upload 20 attachments (2MB or smaller) per Reply. You may make multiple Replies, but keep in mind that we only want to view your very best submissions. Only submit images that are horizontal in orientation. Watermarks are fine, but please do not add text to your submissions.
