Hi, I’m looking to sell my Canon EOS 7D Mark II camera body. I can post pictures and find the shutter count for anyone who might be interested. I was thinking around $450 + shipping. These are the camera specs: https://cameradecision.com/specs/Canon-EOS-7D-Mark-II
The main reason I have it right now is to use as a second camera when I’m photographing weddings. However, I’m finding it’s difficult to have one camera full frame with the second one APS-C. I would rather shoot with two full frame cameras, so I figured I would sell one to put money toward another.
While the 7D Mark II used to be my favorite wedding photography camera because of its hallmark feature of 65 cross-type autofocus points, I have begun to grow dissatisfied with its underperformance in image quality, especially in light of the new mirrorless system takeover. While color depth and dynamic range score surprisingly close on the DXO scoreboard to my new favorite workhorse, the R6, low-light sensitivity scores exceptionally low, putting the 7D Mark II’s overall rating a full 20 points below the R6.
I will miss the extra “reach” when using the 7D Mark II for wildlife photography, but that’s not something I do much of right now.
