Welcome, @JosephC.!
Very pretty! Good contrast in colors, and excellent background blur. This is extremely necessary for flowers, especially small ones like this. It makes me feel miniature, close to the beauty of a woodland floor.
I don’t know how much you have already cropped this image, but to me it feels there’s too much empty space on the left. The flower stem is to the right of the right third.
You might have wanted to remove the brownish, yellowish stem protruding from the bottom center of the picture that points to the base of the flower. I assume it could have been easily broken off or bent out of the frame.
It might be fun to bring along a spray bottle to add some droplets of water to the delicate petals.

However, I agree with @JamesStaddon about the empty space on the left. There seems to be not enough in the frame, and if you could have come in tighter, I think it would have made a better image. The picture seems quite grainy, too. What ISO did you use?
June 24, 2015 at 9:43 am #11863James StaddonKeymaster@JosephC., could you downsize your new image to less than 2MB and re-attach your image?
If you’re not sure how this is done, this method might work: https://www.lenspiration.com/forums/topic/resize-and-compression-tools-for-photographers/
June 24, 2015 at 11:50 am #11868Joseph CamusoParticipantSorry about the image not working. I have reduced the size to 792 KB. I have also cropped it. @HeldInHisArms, you’re right, it does seem grainy. I have attempted to fix that as well.
June 25, 2015 at 10:30 am #11909HeldInHisArmsParticipantOooh, I love the edit! It seems so much more professional with the tighter crop, and the graininess is almost all eliminated. Great job! There seems to be a strange glow sort of thing around the flower though, was that caused by any editing technique you used?
June 30, 2015 at 8:25 am #12015Joseph CamusoParticipant@HeldInHisArms Yes, the glowing was caused by a editing technique. I’m not sure if that would be a problem if it were used for a stock photo.
