I wish I could do it with only 2 lenses (or 1 for that matter), but because I shoot professionally, I would prefer to regularly switch lenses than to sacrifice image quality and the f/2.8 aperture at every focal length. </p>

I really like that first one, where you&#8217;re so close to the tree. I wonder if that same effect could have been used on the next photo, only better because there are those ribs (or are they vines?) going up the side of the tree, that could almost be used as leading lines into the scene.</p>

<p>When the verticals are perfectly vertical, and the top of the building looks wider at the top than at the bottom, it made me wonder if it actually WAS wider or just LOOKED wider.</p>

<p>Yeah, I&#8217;d be curious what the automatic lens correction does. When I downloaded your photo, opened it in Photoshop and ran the Filter &gt; Lens Correction tool on it, a lens profile was automatically applied and seemed to fix the problem properly (see first attachment).</p>

<p>It appears that hot pixels are caused from long exposures, high ISOs, and sensor degradation. You&#8217;re probably dealing with the last two.</p>
