Lewis FamilyParticipantVery nicely done!
At first glance, I noticed the head is cut off in the center photo of the collage.
Pricing is the only place I see room for improvement. It’s a little unclear possibly leaving you on the hook for erroneous customer expectations. Give examples and not firm prices. You might consider these for starters:
——-
Very reasonably priced…well below expensive studios!
For example, a group or family photo with six or less people is around $50. That includes 20 copies of one digitally edited photo of your choice. An individual shooting session for senior pictures, passports or wallet sized photos is approximately $35 with 2″x3″ photos $.25 each for 10 or more. Just click on “Gallery” above for samples or my work.
——–It’s always good to have others read what you have written just as you are now going through this forum for advice. Others may interpret your words quite differently than you intended. Just as an example, the phrase “20 or more” photos” could be interpreted as an unlimited number. Also, using examples will prevent you from getting held to a specific price at your expense. Once you talk details, then you can give an estimate letting the customer know that significant unseen situations may add cost to the shot. Finally, as you get better and more experienced be sure to update your gallery.
Congratulations! It looks like you’re on your way.

Daniel HancockParticipantI would keep adding variety to your sample portfolio as the opportunity presents itself. Your website is a great place to display only your best work. Also, I think you charge to little. 🙂 If you want to keep doing photography as a business in the long run, it has to be profitable. Camera equipment is not cheap! Also, a domain name costs $10 a year which you can use to mask your .weebly address, which looks less professional. I would suggest namecheap.com.

Caitlin ComptonParticipantGreat job with getting a website up and going! 🙂 That must be exciting! I did have a couple of suggestions, but of course it’s up to you.You could put a picture of people in place of the rose photo. Since your main focus is portraiture, I think it would be good if people could tell that straight away. Also, were it says ‘to see more of my work go to’, you could get rid of the link and instead make that text clickable. That way you won’t have the url, making it look neater. (You actually can’t click the link, so if you decided to keep it you might want to fix that!) Also, on the pricing page I think it would look good with some photos. The more photos the better! Anyway, just some suggestions. BTW, Image Catcher is a cool name! 🙂
