I find it intriguing that you cropped these pictures 1:1. Is that your typical style?
The first shot looks to be underexposed.
I do like that the second shot has a second flower in the composition, blurred out in the background. Neat effect. Are you familiar with the tool of odds? Perhaps with your next flower shot, you could include a second blurred flower in the background to create an odd number of pink splashes.
