Does anyone know if it is possible in Lightroom to batch rename the year of the capture date without altering the month and day? The reason I ask is this: In June of last year I realised, when downloading my dad’s pictures for him, that the date was wrong on his camera. The month and day were correct, the year was at 2014 instead of 2015. He corrected the problem, but I’m still left with all the pictures from the months before that have incorrect dates. So I’m wondering if there is a fast way of changing only a portion of the metadata or whether I need to do each one individually.

Just select all the photos that you want to change, and follow instructions!
Thank you so much! I’m glad I thought to ask around before trying on my own this time! That saved me a lot of time. And frustration… it would have taken me forever to figure out why editing the capture time wasn’t working on RAW files!
