Camera Equipment: FOR SALE

Hi everyone!

Dan Cope, a long-time friend of Lenspiration, is selling most of his camera equipment for a variety of reasons and has given us a list of the equipment for sale:

• Nikon D7100 body with original Nikon battery and charger
• Nikon 50mm f/1.8
• Nikon 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5
• Nikon 12-24mm f/4
• Nikon 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6
• Tiffen 77mm ND6 filter
• Altura 77mm ND4, C-PL, and UV filters
• Hoya 77mm UV filter
• 77/67 mm adapter
• Mountainsmith camera bag with waist and shoulder straps
• Manfrotto MT190CXPRO3 carbon tripod
• Manfrotto 494RC2 ball head

Dan says, “Everything is in very good condition and excellent working order. I’m asking $1,350 $1,200 for everything but will consider selling items individually as well. I can send pics to anyone who is interested.”

Do you know if he would be willing to part with the Nikon camera body separately from the rest? It is, after all, the key part of the set; so he may not want to. 🙂

Good question, @christian-horstmann! Dan says:

Yes I would be willing to sell the camera body separately for $350. It’s in very excellent condition with a shutter count of 8,105.

Also if someone is interested in the whole kit, Dan has lowered the price to $1,200 for everything.

For the past several years, I’ve been contemplating getting a new tripod. The one I have just seems so old. I’ve had it for over 10 years now. And I’ve used it a lot. I’m on my second head. But the tripod just keeps going! Its the “2-section legs” version of that 3-section legs Manfrotto MT190CXPRO3 you’re selling (the 3 at the end indicates how many leg sections it has…the 3 sections being more compact than the 2 sections).

So, I have half a mind to buy it from you, in case mine falls apart. But, mine hasn’t fallen apart yet, and there’s no indication that it will soon. So, just saying, that tripod is a good tripod. 🙂

Thanks for the update @lenspirationlydia and @dan-cope! I really am tempted buy the camera body! However, I’d probably need to wait till after the new year before having the resources to buy it… so if it doesn’t have a taker by then, we’ll talk! 🙂
