I attempted to catch the sunlight in the smoke coming from the chimney. There were very few angles available and I found this to be the best.
The first shot is more zoomed out, just to give an idea of the situation.
Any critiques, comments or suggestions are appreciated.

Hey @frazer-family, sorry I didn’t critique this on the webinar last week. I think it’s a really fun picture, wood smoke coming out of a house all covered in snow. 🙂 The lighting’s really nice, and the snow is really fresh. Really, it’s a pretty amazing photo of something I woudld normally consider ugly. 🙂 Somehow I feel I want to see just a little more snow below. The beautiful curve is acting more like a frame than an element of the photo. And since it’s not “framing” anything, I would like to see it more of an element. Just include more of it, I’d say. And the stove pipe is a bit too close to the left frame for it to feel like a main compositional element, from my perspective. That’s my two cents. 🙂
