ParticipantThank you, @jamesstadon.
I’ve definitely found that to be true about some photo shoots being more productive than others! It’s actually quite ironic that that photo shoot was the one I used so many pictures from, being that I had originally gone to capture the sunrise over the beach and fog disappointed my original expectations. I wondered if I would come away with any interesting pictures that morning at all. I ended up coming away with completely different pictures than I planned. 🙂
It’s funny what pictures turn up when you finally take the time to go through them. 🙂 I didn’t even remember I had the photo I used for January and had never edited it. The real scene looked more like the February photo, in terms of white balance, but I happened to use one of the cooler white balances for that one shot and with a little more editing on the white balance in post-processing it turned out to be a good winter-looking photo. Like you said, it comes in handy down here where the seasons don’t normally look too different! 🙂
I believe I actually took those photos in December, so they technically were winter photos anyway, but then again, my July photo was taken the same day at a different spot. 🙂September 27, 2025 at 6:24 am #98012
Laura LaneParticipantHere are my photos I’m submitting for this assignment. Unfortunately I’ll have to admit that I did do a rather sloppy job, and there is no theme as you can see! But I did want to submit, so I’m giving it a go anyway!
Hope you all do better than me! Laura

Loewen FamilyParticipantHere’s my selection off photos for this assignment! It took some time and effort to put it all together, but I managed to do it:) I did a blend of landscape, floral, and wildlife photography. I’m pretty happy with my selection, although I had to be creative for the winter months, as I did not have a camera yet last winter. And all the fall photos were taken within the last week, just in time! 😀

Samuel ChingParticipantHere are my photos for the assignment (January-May). The theme for my calendar is Alaska. I was able to go to there twice in the last year, in December-January and in July. I don’t have any Spring or Fall photos from Alaska, so I’m using some that I got in July.
