[Blessings Captured]

I’m thankful there was some clouds when I took my picture. The clouds help the sky not look blank. Although I like the puffy cloud, I don’t care for the harsh shadows. Does anyone have tips for shooting in harsh lighting?

Here are my pictures for this assignment. I really loved shooting for this assignment. We went to two different churches, but I only got good photos from this one. It was super fun to take pics of, and it was at the perfect time, when the sun was shining through the trees!

We went on a trip to the US and stopped by this stone church to take some photos. I took a picture at another angle, but I liked this one better because of the stone wall.

I went with my father for work another day and we took a small detour to take pictures of the Cherry River Chapel. We have been there before for services in the afternoon.

Welcome, Elizabeth @dfazer ! You have a good teacher, when it comes to architecture photography. Good work! I hope you are learning a lot with the whole process of submitting for an assignment. Do you feel like you have a good place to store your pictures and keep them organized? Right now, as you’re first getting started into photography, is the best time to figure out a place for everything, and then learn to start keeping everything in it’s place. Can’t wait to see more of your photos in the future!

Here’s two more. I think we photographed every church in our town that has a steeple. 🙂
For the second one I was using a polarizer. Do you think it made the sky an unnatural blue?
