ParticipantThese are my first five submissions. I wanted to write some verses on them, but it is extremely tedious on our computer. I enjoyed going out and taking pictures of lots of different flowers at a nearby cemetery. March happens to be when all the flowers bloom in South Georgia, so there was plenty to find!

ParticipantHere are the next few and their verse submissions.
“I am the rose of Sharon and the lily of the valley.” -Song of Solomon 2:1 KJV (for the lily photo)
“For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all nations.”
-Isaiah 61:11 KJV ( for the new blossom photo)“He hath made everything beautiful in his time…” -Ecclesiastes 3:11a KJV (for the indian paintbrush flower)

ParticipantHere are my first three flower photos and the verses that could go with them!
#1: Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. -Psalm 37:5
#2: Rejoice in the Lord alway; and again I say, Rejoice. -Philippians 4:4

ParticipantHere are a few more.
#1: Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. -James 1:17
#2: And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? -Matthew 6:28-30
#3: Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,” -1 Corinthians 13:4

KeymasterWow, this is great! Lovely photos and wonderful verses to accompany them!
I wanted to write some verses on them, but it is extremely tedious on our computer.
No worries, @samuelwest – no need to add the verses to the photos! Sharing the verses here on the forum is the best way to do it.

ParticipantThese are the first five of my pictures for this assignment. The last assignment I did was Seasonal Paths, which I mostly found old photos for, so I was very exited when I saw the subject for this month, as here in Florida, which means Land of Flowers, there was lots of subject material! –Jake Scholl

ParticipantThanks for the compliment @loewfam! I really like your sixth submission; the flowers in it are so cool! And thanks for the information about the verses @lenspirationlydia. I thought of some verses for my pictures:
#1: 2 Corinthians 12:9- “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”
#2: Isaiah 6:3- “Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.”
#3: Psalm 27:4- “One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple.”
#4: Matthew 5:8- “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.”
#5: Isaiah 1:18- “Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.”
#6: 1 Corinthians 2:9- “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”
#7: Psalm 90:17- “And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us.”
#8: Romans 11:36- “For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.”
