ParticipantHi! Unfortunately, it did not work out for me to photograph a good photo of the moon that fulfilled the requirements. Both times the moon was full it was cloudy and I didn’t get any good opportunities to photograph the moon! The one time there would have been a good composition, we were on our way to Wednesday night prayer meeting and I didn’t have my camera with me. 🙂 I was able to get this one photo last night, but I wasn’t able to include any landscape in it.

KeymasterDespite the cloud cover over the weekend, I’m very impressed that folks were still trying and some photos were still able to be submitted!
@jerrell, I’m glad you uploaded your photos in both places, on Dropbox as well as here on the forum. The important place is Dropbox, because that’s how the photos are actually submitted for the assignment. Sharing your photos here on the forum is optional, but it helps generate discussion, allows other’s to provide input on troubles you may be running into, and allows the Publisher to keep an eye on how many submissions are coming in.
@warrior-princess, glad you tried anyway! Thankfully, when including landscape in moon photos, telephoto lenses aren’t required.
@parrisfamily, happy birthday, Ruth!-

KeymasterWhat a great webinar on Tuesday! My favorite part was talking about how to edit a photo in such a way to make sure the sky is truly blue, and not slightly blue-green or purplish. So many good photos, made even better with just a little editing. I also enjoyed the surprise appearance of our special guest! Members can watch the replay now at https://www.lenspiration.com/video/webinar97/
And congratulations to the photographer who (has mostly likely) won the assignment! The publisher won’t know 100% who is the winner until they produce their video, but Valentia’s photo is first in the queue to take the prize.
Good work everyone! Looking forward to the next assignment launching today! https://www.lenspiration.com/current-assignment/
