Thanks for that, @lenspirationlydia! Neither of the Windows links from that discussion worked for me. I think one was too old, and the other, I’m sure, would have worked for someone who knew how to ‘work’ it lol! So I looked up online ones, and found one that downsizes. Have I done them too much, or is it a good size for here? Thank you for your help, Lydia!

These two are pictures from my old camera, so they aren’t of as good quality as the other photos. I think they do look nice with the Bible verses added.

Wow! Love all of the photos! I didn’t know that it was so much fun putting verses and pictures together! It almost gives the photo a whole different meaning when you have a verse with it.

Glad you found something online to help! If still you want some more in-depth help on the topic, here’s another forum thread from @buddingphotographer you might find helpful. And this video shows how to resize an image using Paint (for Windows). For the forums, we typically recommend downsizing to 1200px on the long edge of your photo.
However, all that being said, the most important part is actually the high-res submission to the link provided on the assignment details page. 🙂 So, as long as you got that submitted, posting on the forum here is secondary – mainly providing a place for us all to comment back and forth with each other like we are now! 🙂

I am very open to advice on this since I am new to adding words to pictures.
You did a good job for your first time! Using a photo with some empty space in it for the text is a good place to start, and that’s what you did! One other thing to think about is placing the text in such a way that it is easy to read, as well as artistic. A simple way to begin is by choosing font colors that complement the photo and are in contrast to the background on which they’re placed. So, dark text on light background, light text on dark background. This video might be helpful in giving some more ideas as well. It covers some good design principles!
And my tenth one! This photo was taken with my old Olympus in 2016- Actually it was taken on this exact day, the 26th of April!!
I believe it is one of the best photos taken with that bridge camera. I didn’t know much about photography then, so the majority of the photos were blurry.Attachments:
This is Laura and Jemima’s Mum. I really wanted to do a few photos from a mother’s perspective. The photos are just family memories, so no point critiquing them James. And Also, I wasn’t neccessarily the photographer. I sincerely thank both Laura and Jemima for their input in helping me do this! It may be of interest, the little girl helping do the dishes was Jemima, with her twin brother 🙂
