Any suggestion on how I could have improved this picture?

Good job!
However, it seems like there’s too much sky in the picture. I cropped your picture much tighter, and played with shadows, lights, etc. Also, maybe I would have gone for f3.5 or f4, to have a more blurred background.

Wow, very nice @Farmboy.
While it’s nice that the flower and bee are off center, the main subject seems to be too low in the picture. Almost falling out of the frame. It would have bee nice if in taking the shot there had been less sky above and more stem beneath. But I do like the horizon in the picture; it makes it look like it’s in a warm, sunny field.
The flower is as tack sharp as I’ve seen a clover! But perhaps it’s just slightly back focused because the wings and abdomen of the bee seem to be ever so slightly out of focus.
Otherwise, great contrast, color, exposure, and subject matter!
I also like to see the horizon in the picture, the blue creates a nice contrast with the overall ‘greenness’ of the picture. However, I think the crop that @mr-quebec tried also has it’s merit, as it “fixes” the composition. If you crop out a bunch of the top of the frame, then the subject doesn’t look so close to the bottom!
Yes, it is a very nice picture! I don’t know how many pictures of bees and flowers I have taken, but I can only think of one that I really like.
