So I’m planning on getting the Canon 80d this week with black Friday sales and I found one in my price range on newegg.com but I realized that it’s even cheaper if you get the “international version”. What is the difference between that and just the regular 80d? They are both new so that’s not the deciding factor but I would love to save some money if I could.
The international version is not covered by any warranty in the USA. If that is important to you, make sure you get a US model I personally would not worry about the warranty as I have bought most of my gear used or refurbished and have never had a issue. But it would only take one problem to make me wish I had a warranty 🙂
@josiahw Thanks! I wasn’t going to get a warranty anyway so I think I’ll just go with the international version!
Hope it works well for you! I have a 70d myself and love it. I would really like 1080p 60fps video though.

@dhancock Thanks I hadn’t seen that one but it’s over my price point. The one I found is $750.
I bought a camera! Just before I placed the order where I had originally found one in my price range, I decided to look one more time just to be sure and…there was one even cheaper with a lens included and it was sold by canon!
