I just got Lightroom 6 and wondered if anyone had any tips for me.
Along with that, does anyone mind explaining what catalogs and collections are and how to use them?

One big tip for editing in LR is when you double click on a slider, it resets that slider back to 0. Super handy. Saves me tons of time as I fiddle around with each slider.
Utilize Collections! I love, love, love Collections. I use them to put together slideshows, share pictures via LR Mobile, gather pictures for projects, make my calendars, etc. ect.
There’s so much to talk about LR! Perhaps take a look at Step 5 on the Roadmap for more LR-related tips.
