I just become a Lenspiration member this week. So sorry if this reply is irrelevant, considering you posted 2 years ago! Perhaps another photo contest on your list would be helpful? Anyway, I found this photo contest in my local area and have entered my photos several times. The site is https://www.heardnaturephotographers.com/about-the-contest Hope that helps you. Although the contest is located in north Texas, I contacted them and was informed that anyone can join. They’ve had people from as far as Italy join the photography contest! Thanks @hannah-f. Seems like a good, less popular, more simple contest where you actually have a chance to win. 🙂 And the entry fee isn’t bad. Have any of your photos won a ribbon there?
@JamesStaddon, thank you for your message. Yes, I have won twice out of the three times that I entered. I first entered in 2020 before I took my first photography course (online) and won 3rd place in the floral category, senior group (versus youth and adult). I entered in 2021, and did not win anything. Then, I entered this year (2022), and won 1st in the black and white category, adult aspiring group.
I really have a feeling that I was the only one who entered anything in the Black and White group. You can see my winning photo in the contest winner’s tab > Adult Aspiring. My winning photo is of a moon that I took with my 70-300mm.

Hey all, this is last minute but I was just notified of a photo contest by America’s State Parks. Here’s the link. Deadline is this Friday, July 15. As with all contests, check out the rules before entering…in this case you need to be at least 18 yrs old, and photos need to be taken in state parks within the past two years (since May 2020).
Even if you can’t make it in time to enter the contest this year, it may be worth keeping tabs on it to enter in future years!
