It’s been a while since I’ve had an opportunity for landscape photography so I was happy when the family decided to go to the beach one evening last week. Unfortunately, there were a lot of people there, and it was nearly impossible to find an angle of the sunset without a bunch of people in it, but I tried to make the most of it anyways with various angles.

What do you think? …composition, editing, or any other comments you have!

Also wondering what you anyone thinks of these two? I wasn’t quite sure how to compose intentionally with more abstract scenes like these, but I liked the textures and colors. I was kind of thinking more along the lines of stock photography when I shot these.

Again, specs in file names, shot in Manual, edited in Lightroom 6.

Wow, you really found some creative ways to make a plain, flat beach look interesting and three dimensional! Mind if I wait till August 13 to talk about them on the webinar? https://www.lenspiration.com/photo-critique-with-lenspiration-aug-13/
