That’s what I call an “amazing moment”! That doesn’t happen every day. Last time I saw a snake I was working in the garden and didn’t have even a $40 camera on me. 🙂 The best camera is the one you have on you, right?
I had an amazing moment happen the other day. My family went out on the porch to eat supper. It’s unseasonably warm, but oh so beautiful for October! No mosquitos for some reason, we couldn’t figure it out. Well, anyway, we were sitting there and David comments on how pretty the sunset-orange clouds were. There was a roof over us so I had to get up to see the clouds. They filled up the sky and I was like, “why not snap a cell-phone shot of them for memories sake.” And so right as I was taking a picture with my cell phone, a brilliant rainbow appeared out of nowhere right amidst the orange clouds! I can’t remember that EVER happening, a rainbow in sunset clouds. So I ran and got my DSLR and thankfully it stuck around long enough to get a photo of it.
The point is, I’m glad you took advantage of the amazing moment. I don’t think my picture does the scene justice, just like I’m sure the quality your $40 camera doesn’t do your amazing moment justice either. But when it comes to sharing with the world the little gifts and blessings God gives to us on a surprise basis, quality goes to second priority.
What kind of snake is it, by the way?
Maybe I’ll take a look at this photo some more on the webinar tomorrow: https://www.lenspiration.com/photo-critique-with-lenspiration-oct-9/
