This was my second attempt at the “silky water effect” – an assignment from the “Explore” video series.
1st picture:
I tried different shutter speeds and different angles and such; this is basically the best picture I got, but I don’t know if I like it and I’m not sure why. A down-side to this location is that I couldn’t really get physically closer to the actual spot of the rushing water that I was trying to capture. Closer up, the bank was much too steep and close to the road, and there was nowhere safe to rest my camera!
