ParticipantSo, I am exporting photos from Lightroom to my hard drive, then trying to post then to a new godaddy website. It just will not take them. I shoot in the RAW format then convert to jpeg before trying to post. I can paste a jpeg image from online just fine on the website though. I can post the same exported images on google plus, so I can’t figure out why it won’t work on the new website. Do y’all have any ideas?

ModeratorWhen you say godaddy website, what do you mean by that? GoDaddy is a domain registration and webhost solution, right?
What is your website built with? Is it powered by WordPress? Tumblr? Drupal? What sort of an error are you getting? Are you getting an error, or does it just go endlessly and never finish?
Did you make sure that the file size isn’t too big? Try a little tiny resized picture, and see if it works. Try a picture from another source perhaps.

ParticipantNo, it’s Website Builder I think.

ModeratorI don’t know exactly what you’re trying to do. You say “I can paste a jpeg image from online just fine on the website though.” Where is “from online”? From your Google+ page? Does that mean you can paste a link to an image hosted elsewhere and it will show up on your webpage?
I’m sorry I can’t be very helpful, but I’m on a limited internet connection right now, so I can’t do the research to help you out. Hopefully by Monday I’ll have better internet access and can help you if you still haven’t gotten it resolved.
Here are a few links that might help you out…
I’ve never used Website builder before, so I don’t know how much help I’ll be anyway…

KeymasterThank you, @buddingphotographer, for helping as much as you can. My knowledge in that area is very limited, so I’ll let others help.
@thefarmhand, the one thing I see that could be the problem is that the image is very large. 6000×4000 pixels is a huge image. Depending on what it’s being used for, you shouldn’t need more than 800px wide for use online.- This reply was modified 53 years, 11 months ago by .
