ParticipantThank you for your input. We appreciate it. We will definitely be dressing up for the occasion. We just wanted to make sure that we’d be ok without dark colors. 😀 Thanks so much!!

ParticipantThank you @Ezra Morley! I had not seen that comparison chart. My camera is a Nikon D3400, but I’m also planning to use a D7000 for the wedding. I would like to get a flash that works for most everything without having to spend more later to make up for something I don’t get with a cheaper first flash. Would you say that it would be better to get a better flash like the SB 900 first thing? I will also definitely be needing one that covers more distance for sure.

ParticipantYes! We do have a lot of wheat fields in our area. This was the only one we took pictures of this year before they were harvested, though. The variation in color was a result of using two different cameras. I’m not sure why I couldn’t get the color the same.(?) I thought of editing the color to match, but on account of a busy schedule, I decided not to. There were no paths leading into the field. Many of the fields around us are right next to the roads and surrounded on the other sides by woods. That actually made things difficult because you didn’t have a lot to work with around the field without taking away from the field. Our landscape shots were not very impressive because of the surrounding woods causing lighting issues. We were unable to get the right texture we wanted for the field and trees. 🙂

ParticipantSome friends of ours own a rental home in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. They frequently make trips up there to make sure everything at the house is in order, It was on one of these trips that my sister and I joined them. On the last day that we were on the Cape, my sister and I walked to the Santuit River. There, we found the river abounding with beautiful swans! We spent the next hour or two watching them and taking pictures of them as they peacefully swam around on the river!
