Here’s what I would do:
1 – Define “ordinary”. Look it up in the dictionary if you want to. Just get it clear in your head what exactly you’re going to want to convey.
2 – Make a list of anything and everything that you would classify as “ordinary”.
3 – Think of “extraordinary” ways to capture “ordinary” things. Say you’ve selected something you want to photograph that you think is ordinary… see if you can’t look at it in a new way. Appreciate something about it that you haven’t really thought about or appreciated before. Then photograph it with that aspect in mind… from a different angle or perspective – some way that can convey to the viewer of the image just how extraordinary the ordinary is! We take so many things for granted – yet they are precious gifts from God!
