These are all so wonderful! I wish I could’ve entered some photos for this assignment, but I went ice-skating for the first time and didn’t wear sunglasses, so I got snow-blind sickness, and that merged into a real cold. It was hard to compress the meaning of the picture into a vertical frame, also to not have the pictures grainy.
I tried out two different locations. The ones of drawing leaves had a white table cloth in the background.

Here are my submissions! I was so focused on getting the tripod set up that I forgot about taking the photos vertically! But thankfully I remembered remembered in time to get some vertical ones too. 😊

Taking photos of kids are tough, at least for my first time. I actually live right in Phoenix, AZ and know this organization. My family has used their resources before, so it was really cool shooting for something you’re familiar with. I had a bit of trouble getting the pictures exposed properly, but I think that would be solved by using flash, so notes for next time.

I am SO impressed! You guys are SO creative! Having no younger siblings in homeschool, I am not primed to thinking of things that young people would do for science class. 🙂 There are advantages to being a young photographer at home! And it looks like you guys were having way too much fun. 🙂 It comes across in the expressions! Good job guys. You are an encouragement to me.

Thank you for doing this assignment on an earlier deadline than normal, too. I think it will be nice to be able to take a break from official assignments around Christmas and New Year. The next webinar (where I’ll critique the photos you submitted for this assignment) will be on December 27, but the next assignment won’t launch until the first Friday in January, 2023.
