This assignment was rather difficult.. it was hard to try to get creative angles etc, when there were so many trees around…

We planted a cover crop in our garden… but there was a lone pepper plant in there yet, totally surrounded by the ‘weeds.’

So I was trying to think of out of the box things that could illustrate selfishness.. which was rather hard to do.. I thought of weeds-thistles to be exact… why? well… so they recieve all the rain, sunlight, nutrients from soil etc…but all they do with it, is become something that’s rather annoying to have around, and that steals energy from other plants etc. In other words, keeping it for themselves… instead of let’s say vegetables… providing food for others and really passing on the energy they received.. I know this might take some imagination, but I decided I’d give it a try… and really, it was fun to try to find some thistles… then when I found them out in a field.. replanting them in dirt..:) I was a bit limited in time, but here are a few pictures.:)

so unfortunately there are no wheat fields in the area I live… but there is a bunch of corn fields… so I took my step ladder out (the corn’s really high!:) to experiment with different angles.. 🙂
the bread was easy to do… our family owns a bakery, so I just put the bread dough scraps together for a loaf.. 🙂 and it was fun to try to photograph it.. 🙂
