Participant@dan-cope lol! Good pointers! Unfortunately, I was in a hurry to get back to our van in order to be on time at the FEW conference! I noticed how picturesque that looked, so I quickly took the picture and hurried on. Later I discovered that it was actually a nice picture haha! Thus, no time to wait for clouds to move, but I should’ve thought to shift a bit over! Here it is with the spots taken out, as well as one with the sidewalk cropped out.

Participant@joshua_ong I like it without the furniture for sure. And great job editing out the wire – I think it looks better without it.
That’s a really nice shot! Great job.Abbie Camuso
Participant@jamesstaddon it’s not a problem! 🙂 Thanks for your thoughts… good idea to edit out the dark spots!

Participant@rmadaris Perhaps using the rule of thirds a bit more? It would be neat to see if you could get the side of the cup too like @joshua_ong mentioned. Also I might try turning the cup so that the handle is pointing in a different direction — perhaps pointing more towards the top left hand corner… I like the tablecloth! 🙂

Participant@missyruth, I think it would look nicer if the tops of the heads were captured, but perhaps it was meant to be zoomed in like that. 🙂

Participant@jinnyschober, here’s an edited version – jeans taken out. And you’re right, I could NOT find the angle I used last time! It was so pathetic and aggravating lol Thanks for your tips!

Participant@jamesstaddon, I’m afraid your picture didn’t come through… 😕

Participant@jamesstaddon, you nailed it! Will have to do a retake with LED lights and see if that makes a difference!

Participant@lifeseasonphotography, Nice job! I like the white background. However, the lighting looks rather yellow and harsh. I’ve experimented with LED lights and they help a LOT with creating a softer image that is true to the natural colors. 🙂

ParticipantI have the original, but it looks pretty much just as saturated…. 😕

ParticipantNow that you mention it, I agree. I’m not sure how I could fix that without a retake…
