CAPTURE Kansas – October 16-19, 2013

3441_Canon EOS 5D Mark II, 50 mm, 1-200 sec at f - 11, ISO 200

October’s coming quickly! With CAPTURE North Carolina and CAPTURE Alaska behind us, CAPTURE Kansas is the final opportunity  in 2013 to develop your photography skills from a Christian perspective through the Lenspiration CAPTURE workshops!

It’s only $395 for three full days of intense, hands-on, one-on-one photography training. Save $100 for every friend you sign up with! Lodging is free on a first-come first-serve basis. All transportation and admission fees are taken care of too.

Along with expounding on the many tips and recommendations you learn here on the blog all the time, I’ll be drawing from over 7 years of photography experience to cover the following points in detail:

  • What it means to have a Biblical standard of beauty and excellence in photography
  • How to use your camera as a practical tool for evangelism
  • How to answer folks who challenge your convictions in art
  • Composition techniques for transforming your snapshots into “wow” shots
  • Creating depth and a sense of “being there” in your pictures
  • Utilizing natural color to it’s maximum advantage
  • Becoming proficient in Manual camera modes
  • Planning for being at the right place at the right time
  • Reading histograms for maximum output quality
  • The Lenspiration post-processing workflow
  • Ideas for getting your pictures published
  • And a million other things that “just happen” while shooting in the field!
